FAQ
Where are you located?
We are based out of Sydney, Australia, but all sessions are conducted via telehealth through videochat. As all appointments are virtual, you can live anywhere in Australia and access our services.
When are appointments available?
Currently, we have availability for all appointment types on Saturdays at 11am, 1230pm, and 2pm AEST/AEDT.
How much do sessions cost?
Please see our "Services" page for the most up-to-date information on consultation pricing.
Do I need a referral to see a Dietitian?
No, a referral is not required to book in with our Dietitians. However, you may be eligible for a $61.80 Medicare rebate if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan, Enhanced Primary Care Plan, or Eating Disorder Plan from your GP.
I don't have an eating disorder diagnosis, can I still use your service?
Yes, of course! You don't need a formal eating disorder diagnosis to see one of our Dietitians. If you feel you struggle with your relationship with food and/or body image, we can help. If you are unsure if we are the right service for you, please feel free to get in touch with us to discuss further.
What can I expect when seeing a Dietitian?
During your first appointment, a comprehensive nutrition assessment will be completed. This is an opportunity to get to know you better and understand your concerns and goals. In ongoing sessions, you will receive personalised support to help you achieve your goals. This may include meal planning and receiving information and resources on specific nutrition-related topics.
Our Dietitians provide evidence-based nutrition treatment and utilise CBT-E, ACT, Health at Every Size, and intuitive eating frameworks. You will always receive clear, compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive communication in sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
How many sessions you require will depend on your personal circumstances and goals. Some individuals may find that they only require a handful of sessions, while others may benefit from attending more regularly over a longer period of time.
The frequency and number of expected sessions will be discussed with you during your first appointment and will be reviewed regularly during your treatment.
